Graduate Student
Victoria Hermanson is a PhD candidate whose research focuses on seabird population dynamics along the Western Antarctic Peninsula. Prior to starting at UC Santa Cruz, she completed her Masters at Scripps Institution of Oceanography and worked for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, where she was deployed to study brush-tailed penguins on Livingston Island.
Post Docs
Jack Conroy’s research focuses on modeling the abundance and distribution of zooplankton species along the Antarctic Peninsula. He completed his dissertation work at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science and was a Knauss Marine Policy Fellow before moving to Santa Cruz.
